The number
The figure we give you is the figure we mean. If the site fights the plan, we say so before we pour.
Studio
A family practice on the Front Range.
Michael Skalla founded the studio. We still answer the phone.
Principal
Michael Skalla
Founder and lead. Custom houses, additions, and interiors across Denver and the Front Range — kitchens, baths, and the millwork that makes a house feel finished.
We take fewer jobs so we can stay on them — the lot, the weather, and the rooms people actually use.
The detail
Flashings, reveals, and the last coat of plaster are the house. They are not decoration added at the end.
The long view
Materials that weather. Assemblies that can be maintained. Built for the people who will still be living there.
